Flexible brass coated steel wire rope from LKS has undergone brass process which consists of applying a thin layer of brass (copper and zinc alloy) to steel. This is a popular method of galvanizing steel, where rope’s colour changes and it is protected from the effects of external factors.
Additionally, the rope is covered with a transparent PVC coating. Please note, that its presence does not affect the strength of the rope. The sole purpose of the PVC sheathing is to protect the rope and its user.

Our Stranded Copper Wire rope are developed in different specification and material as per client’s requirement. The rope-type construction of these Copper Wire Rope is specially designed for extra strength, flexibility and easy handling. These are kink-free and can be tied in a knot like rope patterns at the insulator.
The “Approximate stranded metric equivalents” column lists commonly available cables in the format “number of strands / diameter of individual strand (mm)” which is the common nomenclature describing cable construction within an overall cross-sectional area. Some common cables are midway between two AWG sizes. Cables sold in Europe are normally labeled according to the combined cross section of all strands in mm², which can be compared directly with the Area column.
